Award-winning book now available in UK

Earlier this year Authentic Media released the bestselling book My Seventh Monsoon by Australian author, Naomi Reed. Now Authentic have released the award-winning sequel, No Ordinary View in the UK.

No Ordinary View was written after Naomi's return to Australia in 2007. It won the Australian Christian Book of the Year Award, 2009. The book describes the years in Dhulikhel when the family lived through Nepal's civil war and struggled with issues related to both poverty and war.

Naomi Reed grew up in Sydney and studied physiotherapy alongside her husband Darren. They spent six years serving in Nepal with the International Nepal Fellowship and during that time Naomi began to write. The resulting books have become Australian bestsellers.

The first book, My Seventh Monsoon was written in Nepal during the monsoon of 2005. From the view point of her seventh monsoon, Naomi Reed takes time to look back on the seasons of her life. As she does so, she shares with us her journey of faith and mission and reveals poignant truths about God and the way he works his purposes in our lives through seasons.

In No Ordinary View, Naomi Reed continues the story of her family's desire to train Nepali physiotherapists and share God's love in word and action from within the uncertainty of Nepal's civil war. Her honesty and genuine longing to see God's purposes and sovereignty make this unforgettable reading.
