The Teen Talk series, recently published by Authentic Media, tackles some of these difficult issues teenagers face in a way that speaks directly to pre-teens and early teens and in a language they understand.
Sharon Witt has created this series not just as a survival tool but also as a way to encourage young people to become a teen with passion and purpose.
There are three books in the series, Teen Talk, Teen Talk – Girl Talk and Teen Talk – Guy Talk.
Some of the issues covered in the series include:
• How to develop and maintain a positive self-image
• Why you, and only you, are responsible for how you think and feel
• How to make positive life choices
• Top steps to deal with bullies
• How to cope with parents
• How to set goals and achieve them
• Why failure can be a good thing
• Puberty and body changes
The series has already proven popular with young people ranging from ages 9–13.
