After 17 years of publishing the NCV Youth Bible we are disappointed to announce that Authentic will no longer be producing this Bible due to contractual issues.
We are very aware of the gap this has left in the market and understand many of your frustrations brought about by the absence of the Authentic Youth Bible. But never fear! Out of the darkness comes light . . .
We are pleased to confirm that we are currently working on a new and exciting Authentic Youth Bible for Spring 2011. For now this is all the information we can give you but we will keep you posted as and when we have more details.

However, spring 2011 is nearly a year away... any chance of more "youth friendly" NCV bibles in the interim?
It doesn't necessarily need to include any notes, but it would be nice if there was a way to supply a bible in the same translation that their friends use, with a more "youth oriented" look and feel?
Just a thought as to how we can all begin to stem the bleeding a little.
